Under the overall supervision of the RE2CLID Programme Coordinator (Southern Africa and Indian Ocean) and the direct supervision of the Senior Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Associate, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for providing technical support on IOM's activities on displacement data management, with a focus on the RE2CLID programme. The candidate will be specifically responsible for collecting, analysing and managing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) data and other relevant databases within IOM. This is a fixed-term position at grade G-6, for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension, based in Blantyre, Malawi. The required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Earth Science, or a relevant field with a major in GIS and/or Database Management, with a minimum of three years of professional experience in data collection in a humanitarian crisis context, including geospatial data analysis, database management, and the production of maps and analytical products to support displacement tracking and operational decision-making.
