Under direction of the Director of Engineering, the GIS Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing all operations of the City's GIS system, including data maintenance, GIS hardware/software, and training activities. Directly supervises the GIS Team. Responsibilities include maintaining the enterprise geodatabase, developing web maps and applications, coordinating data-sharing with other departments and agencies, and ensuring data quality standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Planning, or related field, three years of municipal/government GIS system management experience, and two years of supervisory experience.
