GIS Coordinator

Morgan County seeks a highly skilled GIS Professional to lead and advance the County's Geographic Information System (GIS) environment. The coordinator functions as the county's primary GIS administrator, managing enterprise spatial data, maintaining the ArcGIS platform, and delivering mapping solutions across departments. Key duties include administering ArcGIS SDE and ArcGIS Online systems, managing enterprise spatial datasets (addressing, parcels, infrastructure), developing web maps, dashboards, and mobile applications, conducting geographic analysis and producing maps and reports, and supporting emergency response operations. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, Urban Planning, or a related field; municipal/public sector GIS experience preferred; and technical expertise in ESRI ArcGIS platforms, geodatabase design, SQL Server, and enterprise system integration. Preferred certifications include GISP, ESRI Technical Certification, and PMP. Compensation $50,000-$55,000 annually plus benefits and IMRF. Open until filled.
