GIS Engineering Intern

The City of Grapevine is hiring a GIS Engineering Intern (Summer Position) in the Public Works department. Salary: $15.58 - $22.59 Hourly. Seasonal job type (maximum 6 months). Job Number: PW2603-10. The role involves supporting Public Works through GIS work. Key responsibilities include: collects and processes field data using Public Works GPS equipment and GIS tools; produces maps using ArcGIS Pro for Public Works departmental needs; creates GIS data and graphics for map production; manages assigned tasks and projects; addresses inconsistencies in GIS data using field investigative methods; uses Python to automate workflows related to Public Works; provides GIS support to internal and external customers through access to maps, analysis results and GIS data; maintains regular office attendance; interacts professionally with the public and coworkers. Open to current students in a GIS, geography, engineering, or related program. Position requires valid Texas driver's license and ability to perform both office and field work.
