GIS Field Technician

NV5 is recruiting a GIS Field Technician at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) in Arlington, VA. The technician will support cemetery operations and historical preservation by collecting, validating, and maintaining geospatial data using a variety of GPS, total station, and ArcGIS-based field workflows. Responsibilities include conducting field data collection on burial sites, headstones, and infrastructure; performing quality assurance on spatial data; supporting cartographic production for cemetery management; and integrating field collections into enterprise geodatabases. The candidate must have expertise in geospatial technologies and analytic methodologies, with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills who works well in a team environment. Requirements: Candidates must be eligible for federal security clearance (DoD) and proof of U.S. citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related discipline, plus 1-3 years field GIS experience. Salary range: $26-$40 per hour. Posted February 3, 2026.
