GIS Project Manager, ParkServe

The GIS Project Manager with TPL's Land and People Lab manages the geospatial elements of TPL's ParkServe program and supports various other geospatial projects across the lab. The ParkServe mapping platform helps pinpoint park investments to address park need, climate, equity, and health, and is built on the country's most comprehensive database of local parks, maintaining an inventory of about 150,000 parks across every urban area in the U.S., including Puerto Rico. The position involves managing the ParkServe parks database, coordinating data updates with municipalities and partners, performing spatial analysis to evaluate park access and 10-minute walk metrics, producing interactive web maps and dashboards, and supporting the technical evolution of the platform.
