GIS Specialist Consulting Services (UNDP-HND-00596)

UNDP Honduras is seeking a professional for GIS Specialist consulting services. The consultant will provide geographic information system expertise in support of UNDP Honduras projects, including the design and execution of geospatial analyses, elaboration of thematic cartography, integration of geospatial data across project teams, and development of geospatial databases and metadata. The Specialist will work with project teams on climate resilience, natural resource management, and territorial planning initiatives, producing high-quality maps and spatial analysis outputs. The selected consultant will also support capacity building of national counterparts in GIS tools and methodologies, provide quality assurance on geospatial deliverables from implementing partners, and coordinate with government agencies providing geospatial data.
