GIS Specialist

The Denco Area 9-1-1 District GIS Specialist maintains Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases for emergency services. The role creates highly accurate data for the Denco GIS database and manages data through creation, migration, collection, conversion, translation, integration, and quality control. Additional duties encompass address assignment, 9-1-1 call routing determination, and collaboration with partner jurisdictions and vendors. Required experience is one to two years, and education requirements are a high school diploma minimum with a bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field preferred. The position is on-site in Lewisville, Texas.
