GIS Specialist

Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) seeks a GIS Specialist to support the Environmental Protection Program's Salmon and Steelhead Habitat Inventory and Assessment Project team. The specialist will provide ArcGIS and Microsoft SQL technical assistance to tribal and NWIFC programs while managing geospatial systems and environmental data infrastructure. Key responsibilities: deliver technical support for environmental data management across ArcGIS platforms; develop mapping applications and web tools for tribal resource management; administer enterprise GIS systems and databases; conduct data quality assurance and analysis; contribute to watershed assessment reporting. Requirements: bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Natural Resources, or related field plus one year of relevant experience (or equivalent combination). Proficiency required in ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise systems, Microsoft SQL Server, and Python/JavaScript. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Salary $49,392-$71,106 annually.
