GIS Supervisor

Supervises Geographic Information Systems support and professional staff at the Orange County Fire Authority. Oversees GIS database development, application creation, and spatial analysis while demonstrating process improvement capabilities and crisis management composure. Develops and maintains spatial databases and GIS applications. Performs professional-level analysis and research. May serve on emergency response teams in the field. Accepts off-hours calls and provides real-time troubleshooting. Requires Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems or related field, six years progressively responsible computer systems experience in GIS, three years project management experience. Highly desired: GIS Professional or PMP certification, ArcGIS Enterprise/Pro/Online expertise, Python scripting and ESRI API experience, SQL Server and C#/.NET development skills. Salary: $123,381 - $166,296 annually with 2.54% COLA increase effective May 2026.
