GIS Technician/Analyst

The City of Rosemount, Minnesota is hiring one GIS Technician or GIS Analyst; assignment will be determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience. The GIS Technician/Analyst performs work with the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) and OpenGov Asset Management systems, assisting and managing data requests and data updates, assisting with the preparation of reports, documents, and maps, and other duties as assigned. The role supports municipal departments with spatial data maintenance, mapping products, and asset management records, and works with city staff on GIS data requests. Candidates should have relevant education or experience in GIS, geography, or a related field, along with familiarity with Esri ArcGIS software and spatial data management practices.
