ICT Senior Officer - Geospatial Information Officer (GIS / Groundwater Exploration)

UNOPS is recruiting an ICT Senior Officer - Geospatial Information Officer (GIS / Groundwater Exploration) at the P2 level on a fixed-term staff contract, initially for one year and renewable subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The role supports UNOPS operations with geospatial information management, hydrogeological and groundwater exploration analyses, and remote sensing applications. The officer will manage spatial data infrastructure, produce analytical maps, run spatial analyses in support of groundwater exploration and infrastructure siting, integrate geophysical and hydrogeological datasets, and support field teams with GIS training and data standards. Required qualifications include an Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) preferably in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or related fields, with relevant professional experience in GIS/remote sensing applications to hydrogeology or groundwater exploration.
