Imagery Analysts analyze and interpret imagery to support U.S. military and policymaker interests. They analyze the activities of countries, regions, and non-state entities, as well as the impact of natural and man-made disasters. These analysts maintain and build tasking strategies, conduct multi-INT research, populate and exploit intelligence databases, and produce and disseminate imagery-derived geospatial intelligence. Mandatory qualifications include: experience utilizing national or commercial imagery systems to conduct tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TPED); using critical thinking and/or data analytics to address matters of national concern such as foreign military, environmental, and/or terrorism issues; using analytical tools and technology for data conditioning, standardization, and analysis to produce findings; and applying structured analytical techniques. U.S. citizenship and a security clearance are required.
