IT Senior GIS Analyst

Manages the City's enterprise Geographic Information System under IT GIS Manager supervision. Designs and maintains GIS applications, provides technical support, and coordinates data management initiatives across municipal departments. Develops and administers web-based GIS mapping and data publishing platforms. Delivers technical consultation and troubleshooting for GIS applications. Trains municipal staff on GIS software functionality. Manages spatial databases using ESRI/SDE and SQL Server technologies. Creates data models and develops scripts for system integration. Leads implementation projects for business system integration with GIS. Requires Bachelor's degree with major coursework in GIS, geography, cartography or related field, four years progressively responsible GIS experience in complex environments, two years minimum at analyst level. GISP certification preferred.
