The Planner & GIS Coordinator will be responsible for making maps, customized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications and manipulating data to serve a variety of purposes. They will read and interpret maps, manipulate and understand digital land data and manage data entered into a GIS database. The role involves designing graphic representations using GIS software, converting field data into databases, interpreting aerial imagery, analyzing spatial relationships, permit review, code interpretation, and staff training. The coordinator supports planning and zoning functions and maintains the Village's geospatial data for infrastructure and land-use decision-making.
