Senior Geospatial Analyst

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst to serve as a technical lead for its geospatial, solutions, and analytics team, managing GIS applications for utility clients. The role combines project coordination, hands-on technical GIS work, and client engagement in a hybrid arrangement (2-3 days per week in-office in Fairfax, VA, with approximately 25% travel). Responsibilities: GIS technical work (roughly 50%) leading data development, mapping, analysis, and system integration, reviewing deliverables, and mentoring staff; task management (roughly 25%) supporting project execution, coordinating tasks, and communicating progress with clients; and business development (roughly 25%) maintaining client relationships, contributing to proposals, and developing communications materials. Required qualifications: a bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, data science, or a related field; 5+ years working with Esri technologies (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, StoryMaps); proficiency with ETL tools such as FME or Microsoft Power Automate; familiarity with CMMS/EAM platforms and GIS integrations; and strong organizational and technical writing skills. Esri Utility Network implementation experience is desired. Salary range: $91,000-$118,000 annually.
