The Wildlife Conservation Society's Cambodia Program seeks a Senior REDD+ GIS Analyst based in its Mondulkiri office to lead the geospatial components of REDD+ projects, including spatial data analysis, remote sensing interpretation, mapping, and modeling for forest monitoring, reporting, and verification. Remote sensing responsibilities: process satellite imagery from platforms like Sentinel and Landsat for forest monitoring; conduct land cover classification and change detection; monitor forest fires using MODIS and VIIRS data; and generate UAV imagery analysis. GIS responsibilities: maintain spatial databases; produce cartographic materials; deliver training in GIS/remote sensing; coordinate with stakeholders on data standardization; integrate field systems like SMART and EarthRanger; and conduct ground verification and law enforcement spatial analysis support. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, forestry, environmental science or a related field; advanced proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, ENVI and ERDAS; programming skills in Python, JavaScript or GEE; fluent Khmer and proficient English; and a minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional experience.
