Nearmap is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support P&C insurance clients by offering custom solutions, conducting product demos, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Nearmap is a leading provider of high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data, capturing and delivering frequently updated location content.

Key responsibilities

  • providing technical pre-sales support for Nearmap's geospatial products
  • conducting product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects
  • collaborating with sales teams to develop customer solutions using aerial imagery and location intelligence
  • integrating Nearmap data with customer GIS and enterprise systems
  • troubleshooting technical issues and providing customer support
  • and developing solution architectures for insurance, utilities, and government clients.

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years in Solution Engineering or a similar pre-sales role
  • strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in geospatial applications (ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • and programming experience particularly with Python.

Preferred: background in Insurance, Insurtech, or related fields like Electrical Utilities, Telecommunications, or AEC.
