Sr. GIS Apps Product Engineer

Esri seeks a Sr. GIS Apps Product Engineer to join their team developing mobile and web app capabilities including Field Maps and Navigator. The role focuses on developing software for critical applications including disaster response, infrastructure maintenance, and humanitarian assistance. Key Responsibilities: Drive development and testing of mobile and web app capabilities (Field Maps, Navigator). Translate client needs into product requirements and user stories. Collaborate across ArcGIS product teams to influence development roadmaps. Advocate for customer workflows in product design. Identify and mitigate development risks. Analyze complex product issues and propose solutions. Write and review test plans for quality assurance. Create technical documentation, blog articles, and tutorials. Develop subject matter expertise in specific product areas. Implement process improvements within development teams. Required Qualifications: 5+ years working with Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online). Experience configuring Esri Field Apps. Proficiency in modern software languages (Python, JavaScript). Proven track record delivering sustainable software solutions. Strong technical communication abilities. Cross-functional collaboration experience. Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or related field. Recommended Qualifications: Geospatial solutions definition and management experience. Commercial software product release experience. Mobile software language proficiency (Swift, Kotlin). Master's degree in GIS or computer science. Salary Range: $93,600-$159,328 USD.
