Sr. GIS Solution Engineer - AEC (Charlotte)

This role seeks a geospatial expert who can identify the right analysis tools for the problem at hand and demonstrate GIS technology's value to enterprise clients in the architecture, engineering, and construction sector. Key responsibilities: relationship building by presenting and supporting Esri software sales within account teams, engaging technical decision-makers and leading revenue-driving meetings; technical leadership serving as an expert in Esri technology and AEC industries, developing complex solutions for strategic customers while mentoring team members; problem-solving by proposing solutions showing how GIS addresses client business challenges and aligns with organizational needs; and communication by designing presentations for diverse audiences and presenting at major conferences and executive events. Requirements: 5+ years with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications); 3+ years in AEC or environmental consulting; broad ArcGIS IT knowledge (infrastructure, security, cloud computing); technical consulting and solution design experience; understanding of sales processes; geodatabase and DBMS expertise; cloud platform knowledge (Azure or AWS); programming skills (Python, JavaScript); strong presentation and interpersonal abilities; 25-50% travel; bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or related field; U.S. work authorization required. Base salary range: $98,592-$173,576 USD.
