Aerial Sensor Operator

Operates sensors during airborne mapping missions at Woolpert, a global leader in geospatial services. Participates in ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning and execution, ensuring data collection accuracy. Downloads, edits, and troubleshoots sensor data in the field while managing ground GPS base stations. Requires high school diploma or GED; two years of related experience preferred. A degree in GIS or geography is advantageous. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication, and willingness for extensive travel required (21 days on/14 days off rotating schedule, domestic and international). Preferred: Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS, Leica FlightPro, TerraSolid, and specific sensor systems (Leica Terrain Mapper, ADS 100, DMC). Must possess U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available. Salary: $22-$25/hr.
