Geographic Information System Analyst VI (SR-26)

The Department of Environmental Services (ENV), Office of Administrative Support, seeks a senior GIS Analyst to function as a working supervisor responsible for oversight and coordination of ENV's GIS personnel and section activities. Key responsibilities: coordinate overall GIS goals, objectives, and strategic plans for ENV to promote effective use of GIS for wastewater and solid waste operations and programs; assist with the GIS annual budget; plan and coordinate selection, development, implementation, and support of complex GIS projects; serve as project manager for department-wide GIS-related projects; coordinate procurement and administration of GIS professional service contracts; provide oversight of management and maintenance of GIS environment, database, and associated data for wastewater and solid waste services, map production, data analysis, policy planning, and information reporting. Salary $6,535-$7,644 monthly. Full-time permanent position located in Kapolei, Oahu.
