IT GIS Analyst

The City of Bryan, TX seeks an IT GIS Analyst to serve as a bridge between Information Technology and City departments by administering Esri-based GIS solutions, supporting users, maintaining spatial databases, integrating GIS with other enterprise systems, and helping deliver accurate mapping and analysis. The role manages GIS data and application development projects and performs data analysis and spatial analysis to produce maps, dashboards, reports, and other information products for City staff and decision-makers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in Geosciences, Geography, Spatial Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, plus at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in the use of GIS and GPS technology. The City of Bryan offers a Certificate Pay Program (CPP) for new employees after 90 days of employment, providing up to $450/month in certification pay. Salary $55,000-$80,000/year depending on qualifications.
