Physical Scientist/Oceanographer

Serves as a Senior Analyst for one or more geographic regions and independently conducts imagery analysis to provide estuarine and/or riverine geospatial products. Key duties include assisting in the collection, processing, reviewing, and evaluation of hydrographic, bathymetric, oceanographic, and/or geophysical data during TDY assignments as a member of a survey team, and applying remote sensing and imagery analysis techniques to characterize coastal and inland water environments in support of national security and military operations. Requires a strong foundation in the physical sciences and the ability to obtain and retain the appropriate security clearance. Applications received after the closing date will generally result in an ineligible rating.
