Senior REDD+ GIS Analyst

The Wildlife Conservation Society seeks a Senior REDD+ GIS Analyst for the Keo Seima REDD+ Project, supporting forest monitoring and conservation efforts in Cambodia. The analyst will manage satellite imagery processing, maintain GIS databases, and integrate spatial tools with field systems like SMART and EarthRanger. Core responsibilities: process remote sensing data from platforms including Sentinel and Landsat for forest monitoring; monitor deforestation trends and land use changes; conduct drone-based surveys and analysis; provide GIS training to staff and local partners; generate maps and reports for technical documentation. Requirements: bachelor's or master's degree in GIS, remote sensing, forestry, or related field; 3-5 years of professional experience; proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar software; programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or Google Earth Engine); fluency in Khmer and English.
